Today I have read the article "Unique quantum material could enable ultra-powerful, compact computers". Information in computers is transmitted through semiconductors by the movement of electrons and stored in the direction of the electron spin in magnetic materials. To shrink devices while improving their performance—a goal of an emerging field called spin-electronics ("spintronics")—researchers are searching for unique materials that combine both quantum properties. Writing in Nature Materials, a team of chemists and physicists at Columbia finds a strong link between electron transport and magnetism in a material called chromium sulfide bromide (CrSBr). I was interested to read this article and I can recommend it to everyone who interested of quantum physics or IT.

Debt
Today I have read the article "Scientists use quantum computers to simulate quantum materials". In a new study from the U.S. Department of Energy's (DOE) Argonne National Laboratory and the University of Chicago, researchers performed quantum simulations of spin defects, which are specific impurities in materials that could offer a promising basis for new quantum technologies. The study improved the accuracy of calculations on quantum computers by correcting for noise introduced by quantum hardware. I was interested to read this article and I can recommend it to everyone who interested of quantum physics or IT.

Debt
Today I have read the article "Error-free quantum computing gets real". The team led by Thomas Monz has now succeeded for the first time in realizing a set of computational operations on two logical quantum bits that can be used to implement any possible operation. The researchers have implemented operations on the logical qubits in such a way that errors caused by the underlying physical operations can also be detected and corrected. Thus, they have implemented the first fault-tolerant implementation of a universal set of gates on encoded logical quantum bits. I was interested to read this article and I can recommend it to everyone who interested of quantum physics or IT.

Today I read the article "Microsoft's Common Data Model: What users (not just Dynamics 365 ones) need to know". It turned out to be very interesting , after reading it , I learned how the Microsoft data model was created , how the CDM code and more than 250 objects were presented via GitHub . At the end of the article , you can notice that Microsoft representatives informed Ignite participants that they are working on entity definitions from Dynamics 365 for freelancing and operations , marketing , and so on . They are planning pre - release versions of CDM integration in their Azure data services . And in the near future they plan to tell more about the open data initiative .

Nuclear fuel

I have read the article about a nuclear fuels. Nuclear fuel is the fuel that is used in a nuclear reactor to sustain a nuclear chain reaction. These fuels are fissile, and the most common nuclear fuels are the radioactive metals uranium-235 and plutonium-239. All processes involved in obtaining, refining, and using this fuel make up a cycle known as the nuclear fuel cycle. Nuclear fuels require far more complicated systems to extract their energy, which calls for greater regulation. In conclusion, nuclear fuel is very efficient, but because it is not fully recyclable, it cannot be disposed of and is therefore not environmentally friendly.

Today I have read the article "We need to make sure that the AI robot makes the right decisions, at least as often as humans do." Each robot has its own program of action, but they are constantly faced with a choice. For example, a Tesla car, it is completely computer controlled, but in emergencies he has the choice to crash into a car or knock down a person, he will think how to do less damage, but who will be responsible if the car knocks down a person? That's right, no one.

Fusion reactors

Fusion reactors - fusion of heavier atomic nuclei from lighter ones in order to obtain energy, which, unlike explosive thermonuclear fusion (used in thermonuclear explosive devices), is controlled.  Controlled thermonuclear fusion differs from traditional nuclear energy in that the latter uses a decay reaction, during which lighter nuclei are obtained from heavy nuclei.  In the main nuclear reactions that are planned to be used for controlled thermonuclear fusion, deuterium and tritium will be used, and in the more distant future, helium-3 and boron-11. In conclusion, I want to say that this type of reactor is much better because it can be controlled.

This development is hindered by the high cost of projects and the fear of repeating disasters like in Chernobyl and Fukushima. But modern reactors have much larger safety systems and promise to be cheaper and make nuclear power more accessible. This article is about the study of metasurfaces . Metasurfaces are artificially created nanoscale materials with remarkable optical properties. They are used to create lenses, which are a fundamental component of nanoelectronics production in the semiconductor industry. Georgia Tech scientists recently demonstrated the world's first electrically tunable photonic metasurface platform. Metasurfaces can make optical systems very thin and easier to control and tune. This is an important step forward in the development of miniaturized reconfigurable metasurfaces. In my opinion, the new research provides an opportunity to better explore the optical possibilities for furture use in technology.

I have read the article " Effect of wettability on flow boiling heat transfer in a microtube ". The article tells about the effect of surface wettability in a micropipe on heat transfer during boiling. To improve the efficiency of heat transfer, three types of surfaces were considered. It has been established by numerical method that the efficiency of heat transfer on a hydrophilic surface is increased. Thus, using a nanotube with a hydrophilic surface, it was possible to increase the efficiency of heat transfer during flow boiling. The data obtained can be used, since this problem is relevant. I believe that such calculations will help scientists improve the efficiency of heat transfer.

The article describes the development of a new material that can be used in electronic circuits that mimic the human brain.
These systems will be more energy efficient and better at handling machine learning. Moving data between CPU and storage is the main reason for high power consumption in applications. Scientists want to combine data storage and processing in one type of electronic components (memristors).
The new memristors can easily switch between the two modes of operation.
Applying a low current activates the volatile mode, while applying a high current activates the non-volatile mode.

This malicious program notices delays when it tries to access a computer's memory, because the hardware is shared among all programs using the machine.
It can then interpret those delays to obtain another program's secrets, like a password or cryptographic key.
To prevent contention attacks, the researchers developed a scheme that "shapes" a program's memory requests into a predefined pattern that is independent of when the program actually needs to use the memory controller.
In my opinion this is a useful discovery for information security.

Today I have read the article “Machine learning, meet human emotions: How to help a computer monitor your mental state’. This article tells about the creation of programs that, with the help of robots, create human emotions. Scientists have created machines that can perform actions by reading information from the human brain. But even with easy tasks, they cope with low accuracy, and all due to the fact that our brain is very complex. But scientists will improve these technologies because in the future they can be very helpful in all aspects of life. For example, in medicine, in ordinary household chores, at a construction site and in many other things. After reading this article, I realized what opportunities people may have in the future thanks to new technologies.

Today I have read the article "First direct observation of the dead-cone effect in particle physics". The ALICE collaboration at the Large Hadron Collider (LHC) has made the first direct observation of the dead-cone effect—a fundamental feature of the theory of the strong force that binds quarks and gluons together into protons, neutrons and, ultimately, all atomic nuclei. In addition to confirming this effect, the observation, reported in a paper published today in Nature, provides direct experimental access to the mass of a single charm quark before it is confined inside hadrons. I was interested to read this article and I can recommend it to everyone who interested of quantum physics.

Today I read the article "We need to make sure that the AI robot makes the right decisions, at least as often as humans do." Each robot has its own program of action, but they are constantly faced with a choice. For example, a Tesla car, it is completely computer controlled, but in emergencies he has the choice to crash into a car or knock down a person, he will think how to do less damage, but who will be responsible if the car knocks down a person? That's right, no one.

The coolant in a nuclear reactor is a liquid or gaseous substance that is passed through the reactor core and removes the heat released from it as a result of the nuclear fission reaction. In double-circuit power reactors, the coolant from the reactor enters a steam generator, in which steam is generated, which drives the turbines, and in single-circuit reactors, the coolant itself can serve as the working fluid of the turbine cycle. In thermal reactors, water vapor, organic liquids, carbon dioxide are used as the coolant; in fast neutron reactors - liquid metals ,as well as gases .Often a liquid serves as a heat carrier, which is at the same time a moderator.

Today I have read the article "Trees found to reduce land surface area temperatures in cities up to 12°C".Green spaces in cities play a much bigger role than we can imagine. They improve the city's air basin and improve its microclimate; absorb carbon dioxide and emit oxygen, reduce air temperature in hot weather due to evaporation of moisture. Asphalt surfaces, walls of houses, cars in hot weather are heated to very high temperatures. But greenery lowers the ambient temperature, contributing to a more comfortable microclimate. This should be taken into account in modern urban planning

The nature of the atmosphere shows that high-speed winds run parallel to the equators of the brown arc. TITLE: "Interlayer magnetophononic coupling"

This article is about using magnetism to create next generation electronics and even quantum computers. Scientists from the University of Pennsylvania and the University of California San Diego have discovered a new way to control magnetic behavior. The secret lies in the micro-vibration of the atoms or phonons in the material. It turns out that the intensity of phonons is highly correlated with the magnetic structure of the material. Such atomic vibrations could potentially function to tune the magnetic coupling between electrons. I believe that this discovery could pave the way for new, efficient and ultra-fast devices.

Today I have read the article "Cooling a gas of magnetic atoms to create large two-dimensional supersolids". In recent years a new state of matter has appeared on the scene: the supersolid. This has both the crystal structure of a solid and the properties of a superfluid, a quantum fluid that can flow without friction. In a new study, investigations led by Francesca Ferlaino and Russell Bisset show how to cool an atomic gas into a supersolid with a circular, 2D shape. The method will allow researchers to further study these exotic states of matter and search for features such as turbulent vortices. Today I have read the article "Quantum systems and the flight of the bee". The authors of a study published in Science used a quantum system which simulates the dynamics of quantum magnets. They were able to use it to prove that, after an initial phase dominated by quantum-mechanical effects, the system could actually be described with equations of the type familiar from fluid dynamics. Furthermore, they showed that the same Lévy Flight statistics which describe the search strategies used by bees also apply to fluid-dynamic processes in quantum systems. In the near future, quantum simulators and quantum computers will be ideal platforms for researching the dynamics of complex quantum systems. I was interested to read this article and I can recommend it for enthusiasts quntum phisics.

Today I have read the article "What is Nuclear Fuel?".This article tells about the properties and functions of nuclear fuel. Nuclear fuel is made from uranium ore. It goes through several stages for processing and production.Uranium used in fuel is an isotope or atom with a certain number of neutrons known as uranium-235. Under the right conditions in the reactor, neutrons will lead to the fission or fission of U-235 atoms.Spent fuel is very hot and very radioactive. Atoms created during fission are initially unstable and emit particles that generate heat.

This article is about how researchers from the Chinese Academy proposed to use NFT technology for patents. The essence of this technology is that NFTs are unique and irreplaceable tokens. In this way, patents will be more reliable than security and the process of applying for patents and trademarks will be much faster and easier. it will also make it easier to deal with patents in the future because it will be much easier to keep track of changes in patent ownership. I have read the article about water vapor in space. Water vapor helps cool the collapsing cloud of material, allowing it to dissipate heat and thereby contract until a new star can develop.
Мost of the water vapor occurs near the surface of the cloud and therefore does not spread the cloud more than one hundredth of a light-year because it turns into ice. For all these reasons, astronomers are actively looking for water in the cosmos. In conclusion, I really liked the article, did not know that water in space is such a rare phenomenon.

Nuclear power

I have read the article is about the difficulties and prospects for the development of nuclear energy. This development is hindered by the high cost of projects and the fear of repeating disasters like in Chernobyl and Fukushima. But modern reactors have much larger safety systems and promise to be cheaper and make nuclear power more accessible. This article also says that new generation reactors will be able to reuse nuclear fuel, they will also have passive cooling systems, this will help to avoid past disasters that were associated with the failure of cooling systems. In conclusion, I believe that such developments are very relevant, because today nuclear energy is the cheapest.

TITLE: The quest for an ideal quantum bit
LINC: https://www.sciencedaily.com/releases/2022/05/220504130823.htm
This article describes the development of a new technology for creating qubits for a quantum computer.
Scientists have solved the problem of the qubit - sensitivity to disturbances.
The basis of a qubit is an electron sputtered onto a solid neon surface in a vacuum. Neon does not react with other elements, so electrical noise is very low.
A key component of the qubit platform is a microwave cavity made from a superconductor that allows electrons to interact with photons near absolute zero with minimal loss of energy or information.
The developed system can become an ideal building block for quantum computers.

I have read the article "Melting and thermodynamic properties of nanoscale binary chloride salt as high-temperature energy storage material." The article tells about the conservation of energy from renewable energy resources. To save energy, a thermal energy storage device is used, which accumulates excess heat and releases it if necessary. To store the accumulated energy, eutectics of chloride salts are used. Thus, using the storage device, it was possible to increase the efficiency of heat conservation. The data obtained can be used everywhere, since this problem is relevant. I believe that we can save nature by using renewable energy sources.

This article is about a new way to create nanoscale magnetic particles using ultrafast laser pulses. Scientists at Lund University in Sweden have theoretically shown how to create magnetic skyrmions on ultra-short timescales using pulses of laser light. Skyrmions are of great interest because they can be used to produce more compact computer storage devices. The discovery could pave the way for new and more energy-efficient technical components and be useful in the quantum computers of the future. I believe that the new approach will reduce the size of the quantum computer and increase its usefulness.

Today I read the article "Study examples what makes adult children cut ties with parents". It raises the topic of the relationship between children and mothers . According to the results of a study in which about 1,000 mothers participated , most mothers believe that the reason for their bad attitude is your husband or other strangers . There are also those who believe that the child has psychological problems that contribute to their bad relationship . I believe that the study has accurate results , because the study was conducted anonymously . The article seemed to me quite informative , I made a lot of positive conclusions for myself .

Today I have read the article "Quantum mechanics could explain why DNA can spontaneously mutate". The Surrey research team used an approach called open quantum systems to determine the physical mechanisms that might cause the protons to jump across between the DNA strands. In their study, the authors determine that the local cellular environment causes the protons, which behave like spread out waves, to be thermally activated and encouraged through the energy barrier. Then, when the DNA is cleaved into its separate strands, some of the protons are caught on the wrong side, leading to an error. I was interested to read this article and I can recommend it to everyone who interested of quantum biology.

The scientists who conducted this study say that even the color of the smoke can tell the difference between combustion sources. The team of researchers found out through experiments that the toxicity of smoke from domestic stoves is almost 10 times higher than in furnaces of power plants, due to the fact that household stoves do not burn completely. Today I have read the article "Nuclear power is set to get a lot safer (and cheaper) – here's why". This article is about the difficulties and prospects for the development of nuclear energy. I believe that such developments are very relevant, because today nuclear energy is the cheapest.

This topic is relevant enough in our time, the study shows that more than two million deaths occur annually due to air pollution caused by human activities. After reading the article, you can take out a lot of new things for yourself, for example, air pollution is one of the most important environmental risk factors for health, as well as mortality statistics due to air changes due to climate change and thanks to human hands. Unfortunately, it is now difficult to significantly reduce emissions into the atmosphere, but civilization does not stand still and people have already come up with many technologies to do this.

I have read the article "refrigerants, reactor". The reactor coolant takes heat from the fuel elements in the reactor core and transfers it to the boilers, where it releases this heat to the water carried through the pipes to be converted into steam. The efficiency of this process depends on the flow rate of the coolant, the flow area of the fuel element, the temperature difference between the cladding and the coolant, and the choice of fuel cladding material. For me, this article has a lot of useful information, for example, general characteristics that make a particular gas or liquid attractive as a reactor coolant, as well as a table of qualitative assessments of the physical properties of coolants.

This should be taken into account in modern urban planning.

Quantum computers are based on the counterintuitive, probabilistic rules of quantum mechanics. That govern the microscopic world, which enables them to perform calculations that ordinary computers cannot. The control and readout of qubits depend on microwave pulses - radio waves at frequencies similar to the signals. As a result, control and readout electronics, you can achieve functionality and performance.

TITLE: Chaos theory provides hints for controlling the weather
LINC: https://www.sciencedaily.com/releases/2022/03/220328101303.htm

This article describes the research of scientists in the field of weather control using computer simulation.
The simulation is based on the butterfly effect in chaos theory. The system under study can be in one of two states, like the wings of a butterfly. Switching between them depends on changing conditions.
In this study, the scientists changed the variables that describe convection. They found that small changes in several variables together can lead to a change in the state of the weather system.
Thanks to this method, forecasts have reached great accuracy. Scientists hope to control the weather through research in this area.
