Comment:
I have read the article “An autonomous robot may have already killed people—here's how the weapons could be more destabilizing than nukes”.
Autonomous weapons capable of making decisions can make mistakes. However, it does not have moral standards and cannot correct a mistake. Which can lead to the killing of civilians. At the same time, people who use autonomous weapons cannot be held accountable, because, decisions are made in the 'black box'. The world must not repeat the catastrophic mistakes of the nuclear arms race.
In my opinion, the use of AI for decision-making in military operations is unacceptable.
Summary: The article describes the problem of autonomous weapons with AI.

Newly developed algorithms raise the bar for autonomous underwater imaging
I have read the article "Newly developed algorithms raise the bar for autonomous underwater imaging". This article tells us about tests conducted by researchers have used new algorithms to outperform state-of-the-art programming for autonomous underwater sonar imaging. I think such a technology is very useful and should be explored properly. This combination of forces between Cornell and U.S. Navy has shown great results and will show even more with mutual cooperation.
Summary: This result shows the potential of these algorithms to be extended and applied more generally in similar underwater survey missions.

I have read the article “Examining tiny cells surrounding the smallest blood vessels in the brain”.
Electron microscopes are in great demand in scientific research, such as the study of human cells. The article describes the problem of dealing with scars, with injuries of cerebral vessels. It is necessary to study the cells causing scars to develop appropriate drugs. However, electron microscopes are very expensive and replacing them when they become obsolete is a big problem.
In my opinion, electron microscopes should be one of the top funding priorities in the science of medicine.
Summary: The article describes the problem of using expensive electron microscopes, when they become obsolete, and their urgent need in science.

Researchers claim variation of lithium nickel manganese cobalt battery could last 100 years
I have read the article "Researchers claim variation of lithium nickel manganese cobalt battery could last 100 years". This article tells us about a lithium nickel manganese cobalt battery could last a hundred years. Researchers are trying and trying to improve existing battery technology and to save our planet. I think such technology is the first step in the long run of exploring "a battery of the century" which will be able to work properly longer than existing batteries. It may be expensive now to use a lithium nickel manganese cobalt battery, but we will see in the nearest future. I am sure researchers will find a way to make it less expensive and more usable.
Summary: More work needs to be done to learn more about the possibility of using such batteries in commercial applications.

Horse Fight vs Flight Instinct
https://web.archive.org/web/20130515125847/http://www.extension.org/pages/23342/horse-fight-vs-flight-instinct
Today I have read the article «Horse Fight vs Flight Instinct». The article tells us about horses evolved from small mammals whose survival depended on their ability to flee from predators. This basic survival mechanism still is ingrained in the modern horse. Although we have removed most of the predators from the life of the domestic horse, its first instinct when frightened is to run away from the frightening stimulus. If running is not possible then the horse resorts to biting, kicking, striking or rearing to protect itself. In my opinion this theme is important for future researches about horse behavior.
Summary
This article tells us that horses evolved as a prey species.

Coat Color Variation at the Beginning of Horse Domestication
https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC5102060/
Today I have read the article «Coat Color Variation at the Beginning of Horse Domestication». The article tells us about the transformation of wild animals into domestic ones was a key prerequisite for modern human societies. Despite its importance for human history, the time and place of horse domestication have remained enigmatic for a long time. Genetic studies have shown that coat color variation arose rapidly during domestication, resulting from human selection. Timeline showing the rapid increase in coat color variation in horses around the Bronze Age. In my opinion this article is interesting in context of the selective breeding.

Summary
This article tells us that horse domestication started in the Eurasian steppe region around 5000 yr B.P.

Putin masking invasion policies with 1990s humanitarian propaganda, analysis finds
https://phys.org/news/2022-05-putin-masking-invasion-policies-1990s.html

Comment:
Russia is reinventing decades-old propaganda based on supposed humanitarian principles to justify its invasion of Ukraine, according to research published in the peer-reviewed journal The International Spectator.
The study has been conducted by Dr. Vasile Rotaru, from the Department of International Relations and European Integration, at the National University of Political Studies and Public Administration, Bucharest, in Romania.
His findings demonstrate that the Kremlin has used narratives from the 1990s to claim Russian minorities need protecting with military support. A former research fellow at the NATO Defense College, Dr. Rotaru also states that his analysis highlights how Russia has embellished rhetoric used in the years after the USSR's dissolution to legitimize a new more aggressive approach towards secessionist conflicts.

Study reveals scale of data-sharing from Android mobile phones
https://techxplore.com/news/2021-10-reveals-scale-data-sharing-android-mobile.html

Comment:
An in-depth analysis of a range of popular Android mobile phones has revealed significant data collection and sharing, including with third parties, with no opt-out available to users.
The Xiaomi handset sends details of all the app screens viewed by a user to Xiaomi, including when and how long each app is used.
On the Huawei handset the Swiftkey keyboard sends details of app usage over time to Microsoft. This reveals, for example, when a user is writing a text, using the search bar, searching for contacts.
Third-party system apps, e.g., from Google, Microsoft, LinkedIn and Facebook, are pre-installed on most of the handsets and silently collect data, with no opt out.

Innovative silicon nanochip can reprogram biological tissue in living body
https://phys.org/news/2021-11-silicon-nanochip-reprogram-biological-tissue.html

Comment:
A silicon device that can change skin tissue into blood vessels and nerve cells has advanced from prototype to standardized fabrication.
The technology, called tissue nanotransfection, is a non-invasive nanochip device that can reprogram tissue function by applying a harmless electric spark to deliver specific genes in a fraction of a second.
The technology is currently being used to reprogram tissue for different kinds of therapies, such as repairing brain damage caused by stroke or preventing and reversing nerve damage caused by diabetes.
In my opinion, the future is already here, it's amazing that people make such discoveries.
I think it will be very useful in the future when we can use the silicon device in clinical settings in many countries around the world.

Comment:
I have read the article “Bird populations in eastern Canada declining due to forest 'degradation,' research shows”. More and more of the Earth's surface is being used for wood mining. Reducing forest loss is the main direction of environmental policy. But the effects of changes in forest composition and age have been largely ignored. This article shows a new way to quantify bird populations in relation to habitat loss due to forestry activities.
In my opinion, global environmental policy should take into account the impact of human activities on animal and plant populations more seriously.
Summary: The article presents a new way to quantify the population of many bird species in eastern Canada due to habitat loss.

I have read an article that tells about the structure of mitochondria in our bodies and how defects in these cells can affect a person's life. Scientists decided to deal with this issue, and came to the conclusion that mitochondrial cells have been studied quite a bit. Researchers from all over the world have gathered to better understand the functions of mitochondria. A defect in this cell can cause completely different symptoms in the body of an organism. The study created an online application where each participant can upload their data and check the integrity of their genes or the cause of a defect in their body. The study also showed that the development of the human fetus depends on the connections of the protein with mitochondria, and revealed the types of these connections.

I have read the article “What a new study reveals about selfies and teenage body image”. Nowadays, social media has almost replaced live communication. There is evidence of this: 80% of teenagers 11 years old communicate in social networks. Almost 94% of teenagers 12-13 years old have an account on social networks. Teenagers like social media more, but not real communication. One doctoral student and one professor of psychology, conducted the study. And they noticed that a passing group of people on the street, instead of communicating with each other, went and looked at their phones. They also noticed that social media negatively affects the bodies of teenagers.
I think that social networks will soon replace fully live communication and social networks will continue to negatively affect the bodies of girls and guys.

I have read the article “Microplastics threaten typical remote cryospheric regions”, that tells us about the microplastics are spreading across the Earth, causing increasing damage to nature. In this regard, research was conducted by the team of the Northwest Institute of Eco-Environmental and Resources of the Chinese Academy of Sciences. Arctic, Antarctica, and the Tibetan Plateau were the best places to explore. Significant deposits of harmful substances (snow, ice, soil) were found in their regions. Summing up the research, the amount of microplastics in the snow differs from ice several times depending on the measurement methods. According to Dr. Zhang Yulan, the best method of integrated environmental research was systematic. Microplastics were found during a stay in the Tibetan Plateau (in glaciers).
Opinion: Nowadays, more and more microplastics are processed and get into all spheres of the Earth and producers should notice microplastics on natural substances to prevent a global catastrophe.

A paleontology student at the University of Alberta has discovered an Ornithomimus dinosaur with preserved tail feathers and soft tissue.

The discovery could also change future excavation methods.
If scientists can better understand the processes that underlie the preservation of feathers in this specimen, they can better predict whether soft tissue, feathers, or skin impressions from other fossil animals will be preserved in the ground.
In my opinion, this discovery brought us a lot of new and useful things. We're getting the latest information on what these animals might have looked like and how they maintained their body temperature.

I read an article about the study of agricultural land and its effectiveness and benefits for the environment. The emphasis in this article was on the benefits for bees, because bees do a great job for the planet when they collect pollen and pollinate flowers. The work of bees is not only in the production of honey, but also in the reproduction of plants. In the article, scientists say that they analyzed fields with wild plants and artificially created agricultural fields, as well as special fields planted with flowers to attract bees. Scientists have come to the conclusion that there are more bees in fields with wild plants than in fields of another type. This is due to the abundance of vegetation. There are 5 hectares of agricultural fields per one hectare of an ordinary field.
I think the work of these exercises gives us a better understanding of how we should develop agriculture in order to maintain the ecological situation in the world.

I read an interesting article that talked about a career in sports and physical education, and in particular a career as a coach. Everyone knows that sports can be not only a hobby, but also a way to make money. There are many ways to make money in sports, you can become a professional athlete, you can become an organizer, a promoter, you can even sell sporting goods, but one of the best ways is coaching. Coaches have great respect, influence and high income. The job of a coach, as everyone knows, is to teach. But it is also worth understanding that to become a coach you must be educated in the right area, and you need to have achievements in the sport. But if you look at the essence, coaching is a great career. I would also like to be the coach of the national team.

Comment:
I have read the article “AI tool can distinguish between a conspiracy theory and a true conspiracy”.
Real conspiracies are deliberately hidden, real acts of people working together for their own malevolent purposes.
Сonspiracy theories are co-created and openly developed.
Study authors have developed a model which base on a machine learning tools. It can identify narratives based on a set of people, places, things and their relationships.
The development of an early warning system that monitors the emergence and agreement of conspiracy theory narratives to the real actions could alert authorities to real-world actions based on these narratives.
In my opinion, conspiracy theory and real conspiracy can harm society, their appearance must be prevented in time
Summary: The article describes a new model based on machine learning tools for detecting true conspiracies in the network.

Comment :
I have read the article ''Peatlands clean acid mine runoff''. The article describes the construction of the problem of pollution of underground and surface waters with sulfate and iron from acid mine effluents and its solutions. There are many technical solutions for the treatment of acid mine waters, but they are often expensive and difficult to implement. Scientists are conducting research in the waterlogging of peatlands is an important measure to protect the environment. True, the researchers emphasize that laboratory experiments are not easy to transfer to large-scale field conditions. As a result, it was decided that swamping by acid mine drainages affects the purification of ground and surface waters through the introduction of peatlands.
Summary :
The article show us about the environmental pollution solution that can make our world even cleaner.

I have read the article ‘’Nuclear power in Ukraine’’. According to the latest news, by mid-2012 Ukraine's energy strategy until 2030 had been updated, and by 2030 5,000-7,000 MW of new nuclear capacity worth about $25 billion had been proposed. In February 2021, the government confirmed the need for three more nuclear power reactors, namely the completion of three nuclear power plants, namely the completion of the construction of the third and fourth power units of the Khmelnytsky nuclear power plant and the construction of the fifth power unit of the Rivne nuclear power plant. Also prepared for the implementation of the project "energy bridge" to Poland and Hungary. But there was a full-scale Russian invasion of Ukraine.

Horses and War

Today I have read the article « Horses and War». The article tells us about the horse has been a conveyance and a source of sustenance. One of the many interesting things about our association with horses is the effect it has had on other aspects of society. Horses in hard service need cereal grains to produce enough energy to continue working. The entire countryside would have to devote much of its arable acreage to raising the corn and oats needed to sustain horses in their labors. In my opinion this article shows that we still have much to do in the improvement of horse care.

I think heat generation will be substantially higher in structural batteries in comparison with standard lithium-ion batteries. “Microvascular” network shows a great results and this technology is suitable for current and also future electric cars.

I have read the article “Bat algorithm for multilevel image thresholding

The entropy-based methods of Otsu and Kapur are often used to find the optimal two-threshold algorithm. A lot of calculations are required to solve a multilevel threshold problem. In this article, the bat algorithm is used to find the corresponding multilevel thresholds, in which the entropy of Otsu and Kapur is considered as its fitness function.
In my opinion, the authors of the article reasonably outlined their approach to applying the bat algorithm to solve the multilevel threshold problem.
Summary:
In this paper, the authors used the bat algorithm to find the multilevel threshold and took the entropy of Otsu and Kapur as his fitness function.

Psychology occupies one of the most important places in physical education and sports, even though it's not so obvious. Let's start with the fact that psychology is primarily responsible for the motivation of the athlete, for his inner desire to do sports. And with this you can greatly improve the performance of the athlete if you properly stimulate his psychology. Also, do not forget that the psychological part of the athlete can also play against him. For example, because of some factors he may lose the desire to train. And the worst thing is that in competitive sports the athlete can completely lose faith in himself, because of psychological attacks of the opponent, not once in the world arena psychology destroyed the performance of the athlete. Finally, we can say that psychology is the most important component of any activity.

Biomechanical Foundations of Physical Education and Sport
https://www.slideserve.com/paul2/chapter-6-biomechanical-foundations-of-physical-education-and-sport

Biomechanics plays a key role in physical education and sport. Biomechanics studies the mechanical properties of living tissues of individual organs or the body as a whole, as well as mechanical phenomena occurring in them. And from this you can understand that without biomechanics no sport can exist. In sports and physical education, thanks to biomechanics there is a complete understanding of the exercise, how to perform it, for what purposes, which muscles group work. And thanks to this you can competently schedule your training schedule, which in turn will give the results. In the end, we can say that biomechanics is a very useful science that everyone who wants to do sports should know.

The article examines the rudeness of a man who, in relation to everyone, can hide his sexism. The researchers realized that one thing these people have in common is that they are often seen as just being rude because they are rude to men. It allows these people to continue to display sexist behavior without retribution. The researchers then tested whether being rude to men masks a gender bias. The scientists said that future research could reveal other types of discrimination, such as racism, hiding underneath.

I have read the article about tiny graphene microchips that could make our phones and laptops thousands of times faster.
The article tells us that researchers unlocked the electronic properties of graphene by folding the material like origami paper. The scientists deliberately created kinks in a layer of graphene and found that the material could be made to behave like an electronic component. Graphene, and its nano-scale dimensions, could therefore be leveraged to design the smallest microchips yet, which will be useful to build faster phones and laptops.
In my opinion, such innovation is critical for the computer industry because computer manufacturers are now at the limit of what they can do with traditional semiconducting technology.

A horse is often interpreted as a sign of liberty in dreams. In some Christian artwork, a white horse symbolizes death, and a pale horse represents famine in the Bible’s book of Revelations. Dreaming about horses typically suggests you either should establish a goal or that you’re moving towards a goal. Biblical horses symbolize war, power, and glory. Statics and Dynamics
I have read the article "A statistical look at the probability of future major wars" published 4 years ago. At that point, the world had not seen major wars since the end of World War II, a time span in which some are convinced that humanity has finally realized the futility of major wars and is moving towards a more peaceful future. The scientist studied this issue in more detail, and stated that the period of peace is not so rare, because there were periods in history when people avoided wars for a long time after protracted conflicts, and there were other major wars after such intervals, and it turned out rights. So there is no anomaly in this peaceful period, which can be proved by the war unleashed on February 24, 2022 by russia against Ukraine.

Historical Foundations of Physical Education and Sport.

https://ru.scribd.com/doc/58084576/Historical-Foundations-of-PE-and-Sport
https://voca.ro/1dMrmub9USC5
Physical education and sport, unlike most people's opinions, did not emerge in modern times, but in ancient times. Yes, these sciences emerged many, many years ago and have a historical basis. Physical education and sports existed in all countries of antiquity, they rose in ancient China ,India and Europe, it is especially important to recall ancient Greece, home of athleticism. In India, for example, physical education had a religious orientation, in China physical education is associated with Kung Fu. In Europe sport as such did not exist, the only thing that linked ancient Europe with physical education was war, yes physical education was used only for the training of soldiers. Greece is the birthplace of sports and athleticism is where it comes from. And if we talk about the history of sports, we can safely say that Greece gave birth to it and made it what it is.

Hypothetical spring-loaded human exoskeleton could double running speed
https://techxplore.com/news/2020-03-hypothetical-spring-loaded-human-exoskeleton.html

Comment:
Researchers at Vanderbilt University has proposed a method to create a device that would allow human beings to run nearly twice as fast as is possible naturally.
In this new work, scientists have shown that it might be possible that a human being could run as fast as a person riding a bicycle by wearing a device. When a person runs, their feet take turns hovering in the air for brief moments—a time when the foot is not doing anything to advance running.
In my opinion, this is a useful and interesting invention.
It can help people run faster. The world record for running speed can be broken with this device.

Objectives for Physical Education and Sport.
https://classroom.synonym.com/bowling-games-physical-education-8293867.html

I read an interesting article that talks about the objectives of physical education and sports. Physical education and sports have a whole bunch of tasks that need to be done, but most people don't notice it. The first and most important task is to instill a lifelong practice of sports, as physical activity has a positive impact on human health. The second task is to teach people different sports, not for specialized development of physical skills but more as a pastime. Playing sports is a very fun pastime, especially for children. And the last task-development of the mental and spiritual part of the person. Nothing teaches a person discipline the way sports do. Sports teach hard work, diligence, persistence, and many other positive qualities.

Comment : Today I read the article ‘’Clever trick enables 20 times faster imaging with electron microscopy’’. A group of scientists from the Delft University of Technology have expanded the reception and enlarged the image project using an electron microscope by 20 times. This requires an image feed onto the sample holder. The result is a reduction in time spent in the amount of one night or one working day. It used to take a week. The great thing about this project is that the electron microscope doesn't require any complicated setup: anyone with a scanning electron microscope can use it. True, do not forget that mapping requires a lot and a lot of patience.
Summary : In my opinion the article tells us about technological innovations that evolve every day.

I have read the article about the countries' endorsement to restrain temperature rises to 2°C as part of an international effort and tackle the CO2-related issues.
The article tells us that progress since 2015 has been painfully slow. Global policies currently in place, combined with newly pledged NDCs, give an estimated 66% chance of keeping global temperatures below 2.9°C by the end of the century. With the broad aspirations of the Paris Agreement confirmed, attention must now focus on rapid implementation.
In my opinion, countries have to cooperate through carbon markets, emissions trading and support for developed countries at international, national and local levels according to the strict and well-regulated international low with appropriate punishment through the sanctions.
Summary.
Setting the rules that govern emissions trading, financing and support for developing countries over the century will be critical.

I have read the article about the reason for some licenses suspended that were taken after considering the impact of the damage in the exclusion zone resulting from the Russian military occupation of the area.
The article tells us that the SSE ChNPP and enterprises using ionizing radiation sources cannot ensure the availability of the necessary number of qualified personnel to ensure the level of safety of facilities, fully ensure the implementation of radiation dosimetric control in certain amounts, accounting and control of radioactive waste and sources ionizing radiation.
In my opinion, the loss of capacity is not the fault of the licensees, but due to force majeure circumstances related to the occupation.
Summary.
At the site are absent conditions for safe operation in the exclusion zone. Also, there are no safe ways for staff to access facilities and the damage violated logistical routes for delivery to the exclusion zone operation of equipment, spare parts and materials.

Comment.
I have read the article about the new type of digital asset called an algorithmic stablecoin is gaining steam among crypto-enthusiasts—and drawing steam among critics, who warn its risks are in plain sight.
The article tells us that algorithmic stablecoins use market incentives, controlled by the algorithms that give the cryptocurrency its name, to maintain a stable price against a currency such as the dollar, rather than backing the price with assets like cash or Treasury securities, as other stablecoins do.
In my opinion, computers cannot always guarantee that the market works but I hold algorithmic stablecoins in the investment portfolio considering the appropriate risks.
Summary.
Algorithmic stablecoins are not backed by dollars but instead use a complex arbitrage system to maintain the price that makes them inherently fragile.

Comment.
I have read the article about the approach that improves optical and electron microscopy.
The article tells us that the clever trick could increase the speed of electron microscope imaging by a factor of 20. It was implemented through a simple adjustment: applying a voltage to the specimen holder. Applying a voltage to the specimen holder enables to slow down the incoming electrons while simultaneously accelerating the outgoing electrons. This acceleration means the electrons hit the detector with more energy so they generate more signal thereby overwhelming electronics noise and shot noise and enabling the device to measure more efficiently.
In my opinion, the clever trick doesn't require any complicated adjustments and anyone with a scanning electron microscope can use it.
Summary.
Through this simple intervention, a sample that would normally take an electron microscope a week to image can now be inspected in a single night or one working day.

I have read the article about the research concerning the potential usage of advanced nuclear technologies for the conversion of UK gas networks to hydrogen.
The article tells us that converting national and regional natural gas networks to hydrogen could be a powerful decarbonization solution, by distributing the gas to millions of individual users across the country, where it could be burnt without releasing CO2. Definitely, nuclear offers the potential for large-scale, low-cost production of hydrogen with zero emissions and could be an ideal energy source to drive transition of the gas networks towards net-zero.
In my opinion, the natural gas transport systems are not suitable for hydrogen due to higher inert properties.
Summary.
The proposed technology will enable consumers to continue using gas in homes, businesses and industry, in an effective way that is net-zero compliant.

Deforestation in the Brazilian Amazon set a new quarterly record in the first three months of 2022 compared to a year earlier, official data showed Friday.
Since Jair Bolsonar took office in 2019, the average annual deforestation in the Brazilian Amazon, an important resource in the fight against climate change, has increased by more than 75 percent compared to the previous decade.
The country contains about 60 percent of the Amazon forests.
New data suggests that Brazil could set a new annual deforestation record in 2022.

Horses of Men and Gods: Horse Sacrifice and Mortuary Rituals in 1st Millennium AD Britain
https://gtr.ukri.org/projects?ref=AH%2FI02481X%2F1
Today I have read the article « Horses of Men and Gods: Horse Sacrifice and Mortuary Rituals in 1st Millennium AD Britain». The article tells us about the horse burial and ritual practices in Britain during the 1st millennium AD.
The horse is a symbol of prestige, power and warfare in many cultures and its domestication had profound effects on the development of human culture. During the Anglo-Saxon period, these depositions are joined by a new practice in Britain, the prestigious human-horse burial rite. In my opinion this article is interesting for the comparison Britain and Ukrainian mortal traditions.

Summary
This article shows us that the mortuary tradition is associated with Anglo-Saxon warrior culture and Germanic origins.

I read an article about solving road problems using a powerful system for analyzing everything that happens on the road. Researchers from North Carolina State University have developed an algorithm that calculates and predicts possible road problems and provides optimal solutions to the problem. Why do we need this calculation system ? in order to reduce traffic and improve the situation on the roads. The system analyzes the number of cars, pedestrians, traffic lights, even mobile applications that recommend a particular path. Based on a large amount of data, this algorithm predicts traffic jams and immediately offers solutions to these problems. The more information there is, the more effort the algorithm puts in and the more effective the program becomes. I believe that the creation of such programs and their implementation in everyday life will be very useful and will be able to greatly relieve road traffic and perhaps even make the road safer.

Today I have read the article ‘’Breakthrough in estimating fossil fuel carbon dioxide emissions’’. This text talks about studies on reducing emissions from fossil fuels in the regions during the COVID-19 lockdown in 2020-2021. The research uses atmospheric CO2 and O2 measurements from the Weyborn Atmospheric Observatory on the north coast of Norfolk in the UK. The core of the study characterizes a novel method for separating CO2 signals from terrestrial plants and fossil fuels into the atmosphere. Estimates of changes occurring in response to quarantines must be based on indirect data sources, which may take months or years to compile. This assessment is the most relevant and effective to date.

I read a very interesting article about the role of physical education and sports in society and education.
Physical education and sports play a huge role in our society, but many people underestimate their influence.
First of all, these sciences develop the physical health of the nation, over the past 50 years, sports have become much more popular, which in turn increased life expectancy by at least 10 years. Needless to say that engaging in sports and exercise affects not only the length of life but most importantly the quality of life, trivial exercise eradicates most physical and mental illnesses. Secondly, the development of the mental part of the person, most people do not realize it, but doing sports develops in people all the mental qualities in a positive way. In the end, we can say that physical education and sports have only a positive impact on society.

The study shows that the lending conditions imposed by the International Monetary Fund are undermining "government capacity" in developing countries. The economic impact of IMF programs focused on economic growth but did not take into account how such programs transform government institutions. The IMF should phase out its structural reforms and focus on its core mission of helping countries stabilize their economies

Today I have read the article “Underwater power cables make lobsters bad swimmers”.
Marine scientists need to monitor the electromagnetic field effects of underwater power cables on commercially-important species like crabs and lobsters. Exposure to the electromagnetic field made crab larvae smaller and also affected the ability of lobsters to swim. One possible solution is to bury the cables in the seabed. This has already been done for many offshore renewables, but can be expensive and difficult to maintain.
In my opinion, it is necessary to minimize the impact of human activity on nature, in particular on marine life.

A solution to perovskite solar cell scalability problems

Today I read the article “A solution to perovskite solar cell scalability problems”. This article tells us about hybrid materials made from metal halides and organic compounds called perovskites. In my opinion such innovations could drive down costs in the solar field due to their ability to harvest light, combined with their low manufacturing cost, making them prime candidates to overtake their silicon counterparts in the market. Also, perovskites can be used in LED lights, lasers and photodetectors.
Summary: this technology is hard to produce but it could be a great resolution to expensive parts in the solar energy field.

Season of death of domestic horses deposited in a ritual complex from Bronze Age Mongolia
https://www.sciencedirect.com/science/article/abs/pii/S2352409X20301784
Today I have read the article «Season of death of domestic horses deposited in a ritual complex from Bronze Age Mongolia». The article tells us about the horse, as a domestic animal, had a strong impact on the organization of ancient societies of the eastern steppes of Eurasia. Horses deposited in a Late Bronze Age monument died at different time periods during winter. They also demonstrate that winter slaughtering of horses was probably constrained by a combination of economic and practical decisions regarding meat preservation. In my opinion this article is interesting in context of the modern Mongolia and the practice of the antiquity
Summary
This article shows us that in modern Mongolia, horse meat is consumed during winter, but the antiquity of this practice is currently undocumented.
