I read the article “Harvesting waste heat from cement kiln shell by thermoelectric system”. This article discusses the utilization of waste heat from a cement kiln to improve its energy efficiency. In high-temperature industries, heat dissipation is often an issue. In the article, with the help of mathematical modeling, a design for heat removal was developed. An annular absorber has been developed as a hot reservoir in a thermoelectric system. Since the liquid begins to move when heated, CFD was used to study the characteristics of the heat flow and the flow of the liquid around the circumference of the absorber. Given the high costs of heat dissipation in high-temperature industries, this method will save on heat dissipation and improve plant efficiency.

Article: " Improving of diesel combustion-pollution-fuel economy and performance by gasoline fumigation "

Author: ZehraŞahin, OrhanDurgun

I read the article “Improving of diesel combustion-pollution-fuel economy and performance by gasoline fumigation”. This article discusses the benefits of fumigating diesel fuel to improve fuel economy. In connection with the growing demand for energy and the reduction of environmental pollution, the principle of fuel fumigation was developed. Using additional injection into the carburetor, it turned out to increase efficiency and power. These studies were carried out on a Ford diesel engine. To check the results, the same engine was used, but with a turbocharger. After comparing the results, it was concluded that the economy improved, but the power did not increase as much as the turbo version. I think that such methods will help us increase the efficiency of diesel cars and save nature.

Article: " Experimental and numerical results from hybrid retrofitted photovoltaic panels "

Author: Cecilia Rossi, Luca A. Tagliafico, Federico Scarpa, Vincenzo Bianco

Link: https://doi.org/10.1016/j.enconman.2013.07.088

I read the article “Experimental and numerical results from hybrid retrofitted photovoltaic panels”.
This article discusses the benefits of retrofitting hybrid photovoltaic panels. The problem of photovoltaic panels is overheating of its elements. To solve this problem, water-cooled hybrid panels have begun to be used. This solves the problem of overheating and additionally receives constantly hot water. To improve the energy efficiency of the system, the article considers various options for improvements. With this method, we can significantly save roof space and improve the energy efficiency of the house. And using the improvements from this article, we can improve the performance of this system several times.

Article: " Thermoeconomic analysis of a building energy system integrated with energy storage options "

Author: HakanCaliskana, Ibrahim Dincerb, ArifHepbaslic

I read the article “Thermoeconomic analysis of a building energy system integrated with energy storage options”.
This article discusses the possibility of saving and accumulating thermal energy (TES). This method considers different options for the accumulation of thermal energy - latent, explicit and chemical. Also in this article talk about the reference (dead) temperatures of 8 ° C, 9 ° C. and 10 ° C, respectively. It was found that the costs of temperature changes of 1 degree increase by 2 times. Thanks to this method, it will be possible to accumulate thermal energy and use it at the right time. This way we can save energy. I believe that such methods allow us to optimize equipment and better control our costs.

Article: " ORC waste heat recovery in European energy intensive industries: Energy and GHG savings "

I read the article “ORC waste heat recovery in European energy intensive industries: Energy and GHG savings”.
This article discusses the possibility of heat recovery in energy-intensive industrial processes. Using the Rankine organic cycle method (ORC) can be installed in the cement, steel, glass and oil and gas industries in 27 countries of the European Union. Through this method, the study showed that approximately 20,000 GWh of thermal energy per year could be recovered from 7.6 million tons of CO2. I believe that such methods allow us to improve factories, and also allow us to preserve nature.

Article: " Thermal disturbances attenuation using a Lyapunov controller for an ice-clamping device actuated by thermoelectric coolers "
Link: https://www.sciencedirect.com/science/article/abs/pii/S2451904917304894
Recording: https://voca.ro/1csdvqlts5HG
I read the article “Thermal disturbances attenuation using a Lyapunov controller for an ice-clamping device actuated by thermoelectric coolers”. In this article, there is a problem of fixing the workpiece for the end processing. For the help of a robust controller of a non-linear thermal system, on the basis of Lyapunov's approach, to solve the problem of fixing workpieces. Thanks to this installation, they were able to fix the workpiece by freezing water at low temperatures. I believe that such methods allow us to improve factories, increase their speed and accuracy in manufacturing parts.

"Intrusion Detection and Prevention Systems"
I have read article about IDPS. Intrusion detection is the process of monitoring the events occurring in a computer system or network and analyzing them for signs of possible incidents. An intrusion detection and prevention system (IDPS) is software that automates the intrusion detection process and can also attempt to stop possible incidents. This chapter provides an overview of IDPS technologies. It explains the key functions that IDPS technologies perform and the detection methodologies that they use. Next, it highlights the most important characteristics of each of the major classes of IDPS technologies. The chapter also discusses IDPS interoperability and complementary technologies.

Today, I would like to refute the fact that the production of solar panels and batteries is very environmentally bad. Since they are made mainly in China. Modern science prefers to consider an almost fatal "carbon footprint", i.e. in fact, energy costs for production, and not the discharge of toxic organic matter or chromium into rivers. As a result, it seems to me, the non-environmental friendliness of the production of solar renewable energy sources and batteries is simply a mechanical transfer from the stereotype of the non-environmental friendliness and harmfulness of chemical industries in general.

TetianaAkinina, (Diachenko, PhD.) https://www.agilealliance.org/glossary/refactoring/ (Wednesday, 05 January 2022)

Today I would like to talk about Refactoring. It is working to improve the internal structure and performance of code. The goal of product development is the continuous delivery of business value to users and stakeholders. Constantly changing technology, coupled with changing business goals, makes this much more difficult.
There are two approaches to how you can act in such a situation. Continue adding new features to the existing codebase until it reaches an unsupported state, for example. I think that through continuous refactoring, a company's product investment lifecycle can be extended as long as possible.
