Security Manager

 

In IT, a security manager can be a piece of software, a platform or a person that takes on security management tasks. The term 'security manager' is used in different ways when it applies to a person or a piece of technology. In many cases, companies use the term to describe products that perform security tasks. For example, in Java, security manager is a class for implementing security functions. Other types of security managers are platforms that handle security building. Many companies have developed security manager products. These platforms may assess real-time changes, do path analysis, perform security visualization or otherwise enhance security efforts. Likewise, a security manager job role serves the functioning of enhancing security in a company or organization. The duties of a security manager, many of which can be related to assessing and implementing security for parts of an IT setup, for networks, data warehouses and more. Security information management is called security event management (SEM) or security information and event management (SIEM).
